The Good Dinosaur (3D)
Special Screening
Synopsis
The latest feature from award-winning Pixar Animation Studios transports us to a world where dinosaurs walk the Earth. In this alternate history, the asteroid that wiped out these ancient reptiles never hit our planet, so for them it’s business as usual. At the centre of the story is Arlo, a shy long-necked Apatosaurus. The baby of his large family, Arlo wants to help his parents and siblings out on their farm, but he is afraid of just about everything. His father tries to help him get over his fears, but while exploring one day they are caught in a flash flood and Arlo gets swept away – all on his own. Suddenly, this sheltered creature has to fend for himself, but luckily, he soon makes an unlikely friend: a caveboy named Spot, who is tiny but full of courage. Spot helps Arlo navigate the mysterious and sometimes dangerous landscape, as they encounter T-Rexes who run a ranch, high-flying Pterodactyls, and even Raptors as the duo make their way back to Arlo’s home in the Clawed-Tooth Mountains.
On the heels of the critically acclaimed ‘Inside Out’, Pixar has once again created a unique and imaginative tale that will thrill the entire family.
