Synopsis

Yanni’s mum is on her way to audition for a role as Shakespeare’s Viola, when she discovers that her young son has been left home alone. An enthralling short captured in one breakneck shot, the film is told through a series of phone calls, as she fights to balance the most important roles of her life, while also walking in the most controversial area of central Athens—Patision Avenue.

About the Directors

Thanasis Neofotistos is a film director, writer and architect from Athens. He is a Berlinale Talents 2016 alumnus, and initially studied architecture (M.A./DUTh) before going on to study film directing (B.A./QMU-AMC) and acting (AKMI). His documentary 'Pogoniskos' won the Best Documentary Award at the 38th Drama ISFF.
