Synopsis

In Competition

Death leads a lonely, routine life, lacking any real excitement, until he finds an abandoned baby girl on his doorstep and decides to raise the child as his own. Trouble is, the child is subject to aging and, after many years spent together with her adopted parent, her time is up. Can Death cheat death to keep his daughter alive? A beautiful apologue on love and loss.

About the Directors

Born in Germany, Joscha Thelosen is an animator, iIllustrator and storyteller who specialises in creating new and compelling worlds. He studied Communication Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Aachen and at the Ravensbourne College of Communication & Design . ‘The Hour Glass’, his directorial debut, has won several awards.
