Synopsis

Night has fallen over the Sahara. A lone figure, a gun strapped to her back, jumps on an oryx and rides off. When a violent sandstorm suddenly hits, she takes shelter in an abandoned army tank and gathers up the discarded rifles she finds there. With this heavy load on her back, she continues on foot, determined to rid her land of these tools of war. An evocative call for peace, ‘Sahara’ is a powerful film about the lingering impact of conflict.
