Synopsis

This film dispenses precious information about water and electricity consumption, giving us some practical tips on how to save energy and so reduce harm to Planet Earth. Through simple but effective drawings, we learn that fossil fuels are used to heat water to distill it for drinking and to generate electricity. But these fuels generate environmentally unfriendly gases. What is the solution?

About the Directors

Tala Abu Samaan was born in Hamilton, Canada, in 1999 to a Palestinian family. Raised in Qatar, Abu Samaan is a student at Qatar Independent Secondary School. Her interest in humanitarian and enviromental issues inspired her to make films. She has directed six short science-based films and posted them on her YouTube channel.

Hessa al Muhannadi is a filmmaker based in Qatar.
