Synopsis
In the incredibly busy train station of an incredibly busy metropolis, little Mia manages to distract her incredibly busy mother just long enough to give her a drawing she has made. But the hubbub soon sweeps them up again and they are separated when Mia chases off to recover something she has lost. In her journey through the big city, Mia discovers some of the world’s special secrets. The film won at festivals in Austin, Brussels, Clermont-Ferrand and Leuven.
About the Directors

Wouter Bongaerts graduated from the Media, Arts and Design Faculty in Genk, Belgium, with a Master’s degree in animation in 2010. Since, Wouter has worked as an animator and director on commercials, television series and illustration projects. ‘Mouse for Sale’ (2010), his graduation film, has been presented at many international film festivals, and won the VAF Wildcard for Animation in Belgium, which allowed him to direct ‘Mia’.
