Synopsis

Based on the best selling Swedish novel ("Let The Right One In") and critically acclaimed film of the same name, "Let Me In," the American remake directed by the talented Matt Reeves ("Cloverfield") is a haunting addition to the latest surge of vampire mania. When 12-year old Abby, moves into a snow-covered New Mexico housing complex, Owen, a lonely and bullied fifth-grader tries to forge a friendship. His suburban evenings of peeping on the neighbors are soon replaced by time with Abby. But Abby is not like the other girls... and, as a string of unexplained murders plague the town, her secret cannot be kept for long. Reeves crafts a frightening thriller fused with poignancy and precision - undoubtably drawing on inspiration from its Swedish predecessor. Greig Fraser's cinematography is chilling and inhabited by riveting performances by Elias Koteas and new comers Kodi Smit-McPhee and Chloe Moretz.
