Synopsis

A hauntingly beautiful story of a young girl as she is forced to come to terms with a tragic illness that has befallen her. As a coping mechanism, she begins to imagine her sickness as a lion and herself as a unicorn. Through these enchanting and dream-like visualisations, she goes on a magical journey through the different stages of her illness and grief before finally arriving at acceptance.

About the Directors

Birutė Sodeikaitė is a stop-motion animator, director, puppet maker. She graduated from the University of Arts at Bournemouth in 2013. Since then she has worked in different studios on different projects all over Europe. Her films include 'Marionette' (2011), 'When the Tree Grows' (2013), and 'Last Stop is The Moon' (2017).
