Synopsis
At the very top of a very tall building, an unassuming man lives with his chicken. He tends to his flowers, captures rainwater in empty bottles and fishes for the apples that grow far below. For a time, he is oblivious to a war that is creeping ever closer, but as the fighter planes get lower, the explosions louder, the soldiers more intrusive, the raging conflict can no longer be ignored. Gorgeously animated, this deceptively simple tale demonstrates that wars, no matter how distant they may be, have their impact on us all.
