At Ajyal Film Club 2025, you’ll watch acclaimed films, learn from industry experts, and sharpen your skills through hands-on workshops and masterclasses. Whether you dream of making films or simply love watching them, this is your chance to explore, create, and connect.
What is the Ajyal Film Club?
The Ajyal Film Club, inspired by the renowned Ajyal Film Festival, offers young film enthusiasts in Doha the opportunity to engage with international cinema and gain hands-on experience through workshops, masterclasses, and screenings. Over the course of six months (January to June 2025), members will explore the world of filmmaking, expand their creativity, and connect with like-minded individuals.
Whether you are passionate about watching, discussing, or creating films, Ajyal Film Club is the perfect platform to fuel your passion and develop your skills. The programme is structured into three age-specific sections:
Mohaq (8-12 years old):
- Watch acclaimed feature-length films and short selections.
- Participate in creative activities that bring film themes to life.
- Meet internationally renowned guests from the film industry.
- Six sessions over six months, each lasting three hours.

Programme Details
Ajyal Film Club will run from January to June 2025, with monthly sessions held at the Museum of Islamic Art Auditorium. Timings vary by age group:
- Mohaq: Thursdays, 4–7 pm
- Hilal: Fridays, 3–7 pm
- Bader: Saturdays, 3–7 pm
How to Join
- Registration opens on 3 December 2024. In the meantime, you can register your interest “here” to be added to our priority list and ensure your spot when registrations open!
- A one-time participation fee is required:
- Standard: 300 QAR
- Sibling Discount: 240 QAR per person
