Synopsis
You know those claw-crane machines at arcades and fairgrounds that never, ever, seem to deliver you the plush toy you desperately want? Have you ever thought that inside that mean machine could just be a lonely soul looking for some kind of connection? This delicate animated film provides an unusual perspective, putting us in the machine’s place, and showing us that in life, there’s always the possibility of a second chance.
About the Director
Julien Chéry was born in Paris in 1983 and lives in Neuilly-sur-Marne. He studied visual art and advertising techniques, and began his career working in the video-game industry. He started working on commercials as a 3-D animator, and now works an 3-D animator at La Station Animation in Paris.
