Synopsis
In the strange atmosphere of an empty, abandoned swimming pool, friends Yinka and Glenn come across another group of boys. Through dance, the boys challenge the newcomers to increasingly difficult feats. A fascinating and imaginative exploration of the alluring but sometimes dangerous dynamics of group behaviour, ‘Sink or Swim’ takes a look at what happens to friendship and self-worth when they come up against the desire to fit in with the pack.
About the Director
ichiel Vaanhold graduated from the Dutch Filmacademy. His commercial ‘The Galleyship’ won the VCP-Kodak Award, and ‘The Wall’ won the Dutch Online Film Festival.
