Otaku is a Japanese term that refers to people with obsessive interests –especially those who are fans of anime. On 29 November, come to Ajyal’s anime cosplay event dressed as your favourite character from a movie or cartoon and compete to win exciting prizes! There are all kinds of award categories, from best female and best male, to best choreography and fan favourite. Get your imagination working and unleash your inner otaku in Doha! Competition Rules and Regulations: By submitting your application form to participate in the Otaku Cosplay Competition (the “Competition”), you confirm that you have read and agree to follow all of the following rules and regulations in the event that you are selected to participate: 1. Who can take part? Anyone who will be in Doha, Qatar during 26 to 30 November 2013 is eligible to apply to participate in the Competition. Doha Film Institute staff members (and their families) are also eligible to enter the Competition, subject to fulfilment of regular work commitments. 2. How do I Enter? All entries are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and if all participant slots are taken, we will create a waiting list for those unfortunate entrants who were not initially selected.
