Synopsis

Sarah, a Lebanese teenager, has her life turned upside down when a miracle in her grandmother's backyard puts the family in the spotlight of their small town.

About the Director

Merva grew up in Byblos, Lebanon with four siblings and a wild imagination. Her latest film “Teta” won production grants from the Doha Film Institute and National Geographic’s All Roads Film Project, which premiered the film in DC in 2011. Her previous works have been shown at international venues that include the Cannes Short Film Corner, Tricycle Cinema in London and Pioneer Theater in NY. She is currently in development on several feature projects including “Lebanese Beauty” and “Hummus Wars”.
