Family Day
Event Description
The DFI Family Day will take place on Friday 28th October from 2:00 PM to Midnight. It will bring exciting opportunities for families of all ages to play, learn and experience together! Kids will receive a “Passport to Fun”, which will guide them through a number of varied and delightful experiences on the day. There will be arts & crafts, sports, workshops, filmmaking, video gaming, storytelling, music, dance, kite making, and animation. Families can also experience local Qatari customs, crafts and traditions. Enjoy free family film screenings in the Katara Open-Air Theater and evening performances along the Esplanade. There are activities and interactions for youth of all ages, from toddlers to teens, and even for parents and caregivers to enjoy as well. Come to Family Day and enjoy activities and films together. Each event has been organised to celebrate films, families and fun!! All family events will be presented throughout the day in Arabic and English. At 6:00 PM in the Open Air theatre there will be a FREE Doha Film Institute and Miramax Presentation of SPY KIDS to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the film’s release.
