Synopsis
‘The Maiden’s Pond’ tells the story of two women trying to maintain and negotiate their lives with and against each other. Salma survived the difficultites of her past by letting go of any attachments, including those to her daughter. But the past did not let go of Salma, and has returned her daughter to her – defeated, divorced and pregnant.
