The Doha Film Institute is pleased to invite you to a special event celebrating films appreciation and creativity in the enchanting atmosphere of Katara, Qatar’s Cultural Village.

For all aspiring filmmakers and film lover ages 8 to 18:

• Join us for an exclusive screening of the latest episode of Freej, the popular cartoon series, on the big screen and share your thoughts with Mohammed Saeed Harib, the acclaimed animator, in person.

• Find out if YOU are the lucky winner of our film review competition! THREE WINNERS were selected from our screening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, last month.

• The winners will be announced at the “Doha-Giffoni Experience meets Freej” event. These young film critics will see their reviews published in local newspapers and on the DFI website. All participants will have the opportunity to become part of our Doha-Giffoni Experience 2011.

• Come meet our first delegation of film jurors: AlDana, Hassan and Talal.These jurors traveled from Qatar to Italy to participate in the Giffoni Film Festival and they will share their exciting experiences and explain how you could be the next international juror going to Italy!

• Don’t miss your chance to win prizes. All you have to do to qualify is write a review of your favorite episode of “Freej” and bring it with you to this exciting event. Please make sure you specify your age, contact information and the episode of Freej you reviewed with your submission.
