Meet Fahad

These bios can be so hard to write sometimes lol, but hear goes: I’m a 26 year old Pakistani-American investment banker working in Doha. I grew up in the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia, after which I went to the United States to study Accounting. After graduating, worked two years in Chicago, and then moved to Qatar. It’s my third year here, and inshAllah hope to have many more.

Still have no idea how I got into the comedy scene at Doha lol, but really enjoying the experience so far! To meet so many people, have the opportunity to make people laugh (something I have always loved doing), and learning from some of the best in the business has been unbelievable. I am really looking forward to the next couple of weeks and months and to increase the popularity of comedy in Doha.

Having lived and traveled to so many countries already, I have had the opportunity to learn to get along with all people, no matter what culture or background they are from. I believe this quality is really what helps me in my routines because I am able to relate to my audience really well.

My sense of humor comes from my family, both immediate and extended. The best times of my life have been when my family is together – it’s always all jokes and laughter. One of my inspirations has been my cousin, Ali Siddiqui, the other comedian of the family and one of the funniest people I know. When we are together, it’s always a great time.

My goal is to continue to make people laugh – both on the stage and off of it. Laughter, in my opinion, always brings people together. In all honesty, I do not see myself as a professional comedian in the future unfortunately lol, but I do see it as a regular hobby for the rest of my life.
