Synopsis

Few public spaces are as intimate as the inside of a telephone booth, that glass-and-metal box where we pour out our longings and fears. In ‘Public Phone’, four people from very different backgrounds make calls to their loved ones, who are in all corners of the globe. While the subjects of their calls are different, the paths of their conversations are parallel, so that we see and feel that despite their outward difference, they are all united in the human struggles they face.
