Synopsis
Jack is cobbled together from odd bits of debris, but he’s missing part of an arm. He searches in the junkyard for something to replace it, but it turns out that perhaps what he is really missing is a friend. ‘Jack’ uses digital imaging against photographic backgrounds, creating an old-school stop-motion feel that provides the perfect atmosphere for a tale of love at first sight.
About the Directors
Quentin Haberham is a graduate of the Utrecht School of the Arts. He is a co-director of ‘Between You and Me’, which is also screening in this year’s Festival.
