Synopsis
About the Directors
Dhoha Abdelsattar is a Qatari lens-based artist, exhibition curator, art educator and writer/director. Dhoha's photographic work is rooted in analogue and alternative darkroom processes but also includes video installations and digital images. She has been selected to participate in various international workshops, labs, and creative residencies, such as arthere Istanbul and Foundation Fotodok in Utrecht. Her first film was mentored by Rithy Pahn as part of DFI’s Short Documentary Lab.
