Synopsis
It is a hot day in Africa, and Frog cannot stand the heat any longer. He takes a sip, but his thirst is unquenchable, and it's not long before things get out of hand. Can the other animals convince Frog not to be so greedy? A retelling of the Australian ‘Tidalik’ legend, 'Please Frog, Just One Sip' is based on a book by award-winning children's book writer, Piet Grobler.
About the Director
Diek Grobler obtained a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1996. He has exhibited professionally since 1988 and works in a variety of media and disciplines: ceramic sculpture, oil, and gouache paintings, scraperboard drawings, performance art, computer-aided 2D animation and stop-motion animation. He lives and works in Pretoria, South Africa.
